In 2019, Adobe organised a trailer remix contest to promote the release of the Terminator's series latest chapter "Dark Fate". Directed by Tim Miller and based on the characters of James Cameron, this episode is a direct sequel from the critically acclaimed Terminator II: Judgment Day (1991) and was long awaited by the fans. As many similar blockbusters these days, the critics were mitigated.
Nevertheless, we got excited by this trailer remix challenge that we discovered, while already started, through the (recommended) channel of the Canadian superstar Youtuber Peter McKinnon and decided to give it a try despite the little time left. An interesting challenge since the material provided through the Adobe Cloud was only consisting of the clips used in the office trailer and the voice-over from the actors, but no sound effect nor music.
We decided to take the hard road by creating from scratch what was missing! Even though we didn't win that one, it was a nice team work experience under time pressure, utilising the Adobe Shared Projects to streamline the video assembly and SFX components on which Yavor, Drew and Guillaume sinewave talents worked on.

Thanks to Adobe for giving this opportunity to work with Hollywood grade footage!
